Jordan 2025: Part II is the continuation of the paper Jordan 2025: A national vision and strategy. It provides the initiatives and priorities identified through the assessment of the sectoral challenges. These initiatives enable the implementation of the policies and initiatives and the delivery of the outcomes proposed in the paper Jordan 2025: A national vision and strategy. The desired outcomes of Jordan 2025 prioritizes the inter-linkages of the citizens with the society, business, and government. These outcomes include:
- Active citizens with a sense of belonging
- A safe and stable society
- Dynamic and globally competitive private sector
- Efficient and effective government
For the tracking and measurement of the implementation and the delivery of the outcomes, the Jordanian government has laid out targeted scenarios for each pillar of the outcomes, the respective priority initiatives, and the key performance indicators (KPI). The targeted scenario for the four pillars of the outcomes encompass:
- Citizen: Workforce, health, employment, and education;
- Government: Decentralization, macroeconomic stability, infrastructure, resource security, size and work of government, public sector performance;
- Society: Safety and security, rule of law, poor and underprivileged, active citizenship, Jordan communities;
- Business: Trade and competitiveness, business environment, clusters for growth, capital for growth, small and medium business.
